How did you first hear about the Mizu Custom program?
Our Marketing Director turned us on to Mizu, we immediately fell in love with the vibe of the brand, the authenticity and the simple meaning of their brand “water”.
What about Mizu and their custom program made it a great fit for your brand?
Quality, flexibility and customer service. As a brand, we want to stamp our logo on only the best materials, Mizu doesn’t disappoint. Our warehouse is small, we don’t need 10,000 bottles so for us, having a partner that is flexible with minimum’s is really important. Customer service, that is one of our brand values to treat others the way we want to be treated and Mizu does just that.
What is your favorite product in the Mizu line up and how did you choose your custom product?
That’s a hard question, we love the M8 for it’s small size, it’s perfect when you just want to chill in one of our Grand Trunk Hammocks, and it fits in the hammock’s stuff sack making it accessible and convenient.
Does your brand support a cause initiative?
Yes, we support the National Forest Foundation, we want our children to have trees to be able hang their hammocks, it’s important to us.
How does your brand live a Mizu Life?
Our brand was built by adventurers, much like Yuzi at Mizu, Jon and Kevin literally road-tripped across the US, from the North-South, East-West, at least 4 or 5 times, not many people can say that.
New experiences should be fun. It’s not easy to step outside your comfort zone, to a land where no one speaks your language, to sleep under the stars, to push your body and mind in an unfamiliar environment. But we love it anyway. We love it because it pushes us. Because, out there, we make the bonds that last and the memories that inspire us.
That’s why we created Grand Trunk. We wanted to create make the kind of products that inspire people to go outside and see the world – whether it’s in their home state or halfway around the world.
